Formed in late 2004  the company’s initial business involved acting as an outsourcing company for the administration of financial products involving traded endowment policies that were being used as collateral in geared financial products.  The company provided annual reports for private clients and financial institutions.

From 2005 to present Eagle Alliance has annually reported on the financial products based around Traded Endowment Policies. Servicing over 100 clients with endowment policies in excess of $10m in total value, the service provides information to both the client and the Banks who have provided loans leveraged against the Endowments and With Profit Bonds.  We worked closely with all the parties involved in the product including the clients financial adviser, the banks and the life offices.

In 2006 Eagle Alliance capitalizing on the knowledge of Traded Policies began to develop a new stream of business involving the valuation, monitoring and consultancy of US life settlements, otherwise known as traded life policies.  Currently the company values fund with a total value of $130m.  This market is growing exponentially and Eagle Alliance is actively pursuing this market to assure its future growth and well being targeting two specific areas, valuation and consulting.

In terms of valuation, Eagle Alliance works with funds and owners of multiple policies valuing policies on a regular and irregular basis.  The company is happy to work with their own actuarially vetted models, client supplied or standard industry models such as MAPs. Where Eagle Alliance performs regular valuations with funds that are increasing their assets they will perform a final due diligence to confirm that paperwork supplied to value the policies matches any pricing information supplied with the policy.  Where the policy owners have a policy tracking / administration service in place Eagle Alliance will update the valuation model with the latest annual report figures, this not only delivers an element of due diligence it also improves the accuracy of the valuations of the individual policies.

Consultancy takes many forms, although most involves what if and scenario modeling for existing funds. Eagle Alliance will also work with clients who are looking to start new funds looking at models for initial valuations and annual ongoing valuations.  They also advise clients on the process of sourcing, administration, sale and ongoing management of single policies and portfolios.

Systems

Eagle Alliance recognizes that systems and technology is a key component of any forward thinking company.  They have good technology skills internally and will develop systems for their own use and clients to maximize throughput with minimal resources and maximum accuracy. It’s not unusual practice for systems in the LS industry to be based around MS –Excel, this gives rapid results with minimal input, Eagle Alliance adopts this on many of its projects however, Eagle Alliance, when necessary will implement these Excel models into systems which are more robust, designed for multi user use, collaboration, allow audits and have better integration with external systems.
